The United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, Alpha Company, Marine Barracks Washington perform during an Evening Parade at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., Aug. 7, 2026. Lt. Gen. William J. Bowers, deputy commandant, Manpower & Reserve Affairs, hosted the evening's parade in honor of The Honorable Elizabeth King, minority staff director, and Mr. Richard Berger, majority staff director, both with the Senate Armed Services Committee. Every movement performed reflects the values, professionalism, and tradition that have defined our Corps and defended our nation’s freedom for 250 years.
