The Black Sea Mine Countermeasures Task Group (MCM TG) neutralizes a drifting unmanned maritime system during a routine training exercise with our NATO partners and allies in the Black Sea, July 22, 2026. The Black Sea MCM TG purpose is to carry out maritime search-and-rescue missions and maintain the safety of maritime traffic in the Black Sea through surveillance activities, the identification and neutralization of navigation hazards.
