IKEGO HILLS FAMILY HOUSING AREA, Japan (August 10, 2026) -- Capt. Jonathan Hopkins, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, and Trischa Sanders, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka Child and Youth Programs (CFAY CYP) Ikego Youth Programs, cut a ceremonial ribbon outside the Ikego Youth Programs building Monday, August 10, 2026. The two-floor, nearly 23,000 square foot facility began construction in July 2023 and offers a School Age Care Center, Teen Center, tween program, indoor basketball court, several multipurpose rooms, a kitchen, music room, laundry facilities, and staff offices to serve military-connected youth of varying ages in Ikego Hills.
