    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

    U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Odoum Nith, a hospital corpsmen, sanitizes the needle insertion area from the arm of U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Louis Ward, a team leader, both with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, upon completing a blood transfusion while aboard the HMAS Canberra, Aug. 6, 2026. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
