Ethan Elbrecht, an administrative specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 5, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, in putting on an emergency life support rescue device during a class on utilizing the emergency life support rescue device in the event of a fire emergency on the quarterdeck of the HMAS Canberra, Aug. 5, 2026. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
