Members of the Republic of Singapore Air Force board an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, at the Exercise Pitch Black 26 open day at Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, Australia, Aug. 1, 2026. Exercise Pitch Black 26 brings together 21 nations and up to 100 aircraft for air combat training. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
