U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, listen to U.S. Border Patrol Agent Saul Rocha during a tour of the San Diego Sector along the U.S.-Mexico border in California, Aug. 3, 2026. The Marines conducted engineering reconnaissance of the barrier to assess damage and plan future barrier reinforcement operations.
