Maj. Gen. Bobby M. Ginn Jr., the Adjutant General of Mississippi, promotes Pfc. Ladarius Gaines, assigned to the 298th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB), Mississippi Army National Guard, to the rank of specialist at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan, on Aug. 6, 2026, in support of Northern Strike 26-2. The scheduled promotion recognized Gaines' dedication, professionalism, and service while supporting the exercise. Northern Strike 26-2 is a premier reserve component readiness exercise that enhances interoperability and strengthens joint, interagency, and multinational partnerships through realistic, large-scale training.
