    U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Antoinette R. Gant, commanding general of the Joint Task Force-
    National Capital Region and the U.S. Army Military District of Washington, provides
    opening comments during the Middleburg Training Center Community Town Hall in
    Middleburg, Virginia, Aug. 6, 2026. The town hall addressed the Army’s recent acquisition
    of the training center, which will house 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) equine
    program. Townhalls like this served as a key initiative to foster transparency, maintain
