    Marine Corps Air Station Miramar

    Nick Vartanian, the 14-year-old son of a Marine, fires an M16A4 service rifle at Carlos Hathcock Rifle Range during the sixth annual MAG-11 Jane Wayne Day aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., July 27. Participants fired 15 rounds each during their time at the range and learned proper weapon handling techniques.
