Joseph Goterhaythorn, an intel specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, with a challenge coin for his role in creating a new bracket design used along the southern barrier on Fort Huachuca, Ariz., August 2, 2026. Sullivan’s visit allowed insight on operations along the southern border and planning for future operations.
