Sgt. 1st Class Allan Welchez, a chief food management noncommissioned officer assigned to 10th Sustainment Brigade, plays basketball with a mentee from a Watertown Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America branch. He often finds a child in need of a mentor where ever he finds himself in order to give back to the community and help the youth have a better chance at a brighter future.
