U.S. Marines with 1st Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, and 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, integrated their staffs during the Mountain Operations Staff Planners Course in Bridgeport, California on July 31, 2026. Both units participated in the culminating event – the Training Exercise Without Troops, where they executed a foot movement, under assault load, transiting over 4.5 miles in the training area while ascending to Mean Peak, just under 10,000 feet in elevation.
