    CAMP ZAMA, Japan — The 78th Signal Battalion conducted a change of responsibility ceremony at Kizuna Hall on Camp Zama on July 31.

    During the ceremony, Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin J. Cadungug relinquished responsibility as the battalion's senior enlisted advisor to Command Sgt. Maj. Nic Melvin. The passing of the battalion guidon symbolized the seamless transfer of responsibility, authority and trust between the outgoing and incoming command sergeants major.

    The ceremony honored Cadungug's dedicated leadership and steadfast commitment to the Soldiers of the 78th Signal Battalion while welcoming Melvin as he assumed responsibility for advising the commander, developing Soldiers and sustaining the battalion's mission.
