    184th Sustainment Command

    Capt. Desmond Jones, commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment (HHD), 298th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB), and 1st Sgt. Kenneth Kittrell, HHD first sergeant, wait to be in-processed after arriving at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan, on Aug. 1, 2026, in support of Northern Strike 26-2. The 298th CSSB is participating in the exercise for the first time, providing sustainment support while training alongside joint, interagency, and multinational partners. Northern Strike 26-2 is a premier reserve component readiness exercise that enhances interoperability and strengthens mission readiness through realistic, large-scale training.
