M109A7 Paladins from 2nd Platoon, Charlie Battery, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, conduct fire missions during Artillery Table XI on July 30, 2026.
July 28–30 marked the second iteration of Artillery Table XI (AT XI), with 1st Platoon, Bravo Battery, and 2nd Platoon, Charlie Battery, training at Forward Operating Site Torun, Poland. Both platoons tested their ability to execute fire missions, conduct survivability moves, treat casualties, perform resupply operations, recover downed vehicles, respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats, and react to small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS).
This week of AT XI also saw increased support from other batteries within 2-3 FA. Headquarters and Headquarters Battery brought radar and medical assets to the field, while Fox Forward Support Battery refueled firing platoons and conducted major maintenance and repairs.
Although AT XI is conducted without live ammunition, the table challenges Soldiers in a high‑stress field environment and validates their readiness. The training prepares 2-3 FA platoons for the upcoming AT XII, which will include live‑fire operations and additional training.
