Arthur Bennett, 174th Maintenance Group, New York Air National Guard, and Staff Sgt.Timothy Crowder, 163d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, California Air National Guard, compete in the annual Grizzly Gauntlet, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., July 27, 2026. The Grizzly Gauntlet is an annual competition specific to the Air National Guard that tests various weapons loading skills on the MQ-9 Reaper platform, including speed, proficiency, safety, and teamwork. Crowder was selected for the blended team comprised of members from the 163d, 119th, and 174th Wings to test joint force integration and identify variances in unit skills and training.
