ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 25, 2026) – Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Ramsey Scott, left, from Ocala, Florida, Aviation Electrician’s Mate 1st Class Brayden Carpenter, center, from Angola, Indiana, and Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Conner Clem, right, from Locust Grove, Georgia, all assigned to the “Jaguars” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 60, conduct preflight checks on the multifunction displays in the cockpit of an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter on the flight deck aboard Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Cooperstown (LCS 23) as the ship transits the Atlantic Ocean. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
