JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR – A box of donated school supplies collected at Commander, Navy Region Hawaii (CNRH) headquarters awaits delivery to the Helping Hands Hawaii donation center, July 27, 2026. CNRH partnered with Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility to collect notebooks, pencils, crayons and other classroom materials to support Helping Hands Hawaii’s 2026 Ready to Learn initiative, an annual community program that distributes essential school supplies to 3,000 local students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
