    Operation Ardent Vanguard   

    U.S. Army Pfc. Aiden Hauta, a combat medic specialist with the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, prepares an intravenous infusion during medical lifesaving training in Nogales, Ariz., July 25, 2026. The training, conducted alongside U.S. Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) personnel, enhances service members medical readiness and interoperability.
