    Natural resources specialists from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, joined state and federal partners to assist the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with geese banding operations at Lake Audubon in North Dakota June 25, 2026. Boats were used to guide more than 650 geese into temporary holding pens for identification and banding. Wildlife biologists band geese to track migration, monitor populations in support of conservation and management efforts across North America.
