    U.S. Marines and a Navy Sailor with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26 board a ferry to Tiwi Island before the Tiwi Cultural Festival in Darwin, Australia, July 16, 2026. Marines and Sailors participate in the annual cultural festival yearly after the Mantiyupwi people of Tiwi Island ceremonially adopted MRF-D after the loss of three Marines in an aircraft crash on Tiwi Island in 2023.
