Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment, Jordan Gillis, learns about the Mold Conditions Awareness Tool, which was thought of by a barracks manager and brought to life through the Marne Innovation Center, during a visit to Fort Stewart, Georgia, July 9, 2026. Over 4,200 sensors have been placed in 87 barracks buildings throughout Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield. All sending real time data to barracks managers, their deputies and the MIC.
