Royal Moroccan Navy personnel stand together at the Royal Moroccan Navy Diving School's Maritime Training Facility in Tangier, Morocco, July 23, 2026. The personnel stood together before demonstrating a close quarters battle response during the African Maritime Forces Summit 2026. The facility, developed through years of U.S.-Morocco security cooperation, supports maritime interdiction and boarding training while enhancing interoperability between the Royal Moroccan Navy and international partners. Co-hosted by the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, U.S. Naval Forces Africa, and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa, AMFS 2026 brings together international partners to address shared security challenges under the theme "Innovation and Partnership to Strengthen Maritime Security."
