Pennsylvania Army National Guards Staff Sgt. Jonathan Mateja, a religious affairs specialist, gives a guided tour to U.S. Soldiers, at Fort VII, Poznan, Poland, July 14, 2026. Mateja gives cultural tours in historical sites to help Soldiers see that history can give them a better understanding of the country they're serving in today. Fort VII was originally created by the Kingdom of Prussia in 1876. During the Second World War it was converted into a Prison in German Occupied Poland.
