A formation of four naval warships is sailing in open blue ocean waters under a partly cloudy sky. The vessels appear to be operating in a coordinated formation, suggesting a multinational naval exercise or patrol operation. At least one ship displays what appears to be a US flag, and the lead vessel appears to be a Canadian Halifax-class frigate based on its silhouette and hull number.
