A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, performs flight operations before the Mindil Beach flying display as part of Exercise Pitch Black 26 in Darwin, Australia, July 23, 2026. Exercise Pitch Black 26 brings together 21 nations and up to 100 aircraft for air combat training. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
