POHANG, Republic of Korea – U.S. Marines connect fuel transfer piping during Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore (CJLOTS) 26 at Dogu Beach, Pohang, Republic of Korea, July 16, 2026. Ship-to-shore petroleum and water distribution is a core CJLOTS capability, supporting resupply from sea to shore in support of contingency and crisis-response operations. Conducted in the Republic of Korea from June 15 to Aug. 22, 2026, CJLOTS 26 is a combined logistics exercise sponsored by U.S. Transportation Command that trains U.S.-ROK forces to execute ship-to-shore sustainment operations in austere environments without a fixed port infrastructure.
