Command Sgt. Maj. Cruz Ortolaza, command sergeant major of the 191st Regional Support Group, provides feedback and congratulates Soldiers assigned to the 1243rd Transportation Company, 3678th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, following a convoy briefing in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, July 21, 2026. The briefing prepared Soldiers for convoy operations by reinforcing movement procedures, vehicle interval discipline and the safe operation of military vehicles on public roadways. During the mission, the lead vehicle displayed a "Convoy Follows" sign to alert motorists that additional military vehicles were traveling together, helping maintain convoy integrity, enhance traffic safety and support disciplined convoy movement throughout the operation.
