Wisconsin Army National Guard, Spc. Brandon Byrne, B Company, 2-127th Infantry Battalion, 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, is motivated by cadre while he struggles during an intense physical event which included pulling a litter approximately 50 yards through soggy grass, while competing in the Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition, at the Professional Education Center, North Little Rock, Ark., July 24. The soldiers were evaluated, at their particular skill level, on a variety of tasks under arduous conditions to include: communicating effectively in both written and verbal forms, demonstrating knowledge on military subjects, and a wide range of field exercises and individual Army Warrior Tasks.
