Soldiers from Bravo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, arrive at the rearm, refuel and resupply point (R3P) operated by Fox Forward Support Battery at Forward Operating Site Torun, Poland, July 16, 2026. During the operation, one M109A7 Paladin moves to a designated position to establish and maintain security.
On the same day, Fox Battery conducted a battalion‑level leader professional development session on executing R3P operations. Unique to field artillery battalions, R3P operations rapidly restore combat power from a single point when performed correctly. The training included a classroom portion covering roles, responsibilities, execution steps and common friction points, followed by a live demonstration of a properly executed R3P with support from Bravo Battery. This training at FOS Torun ensures the battalion can operate efficient and safe resupply points during the upcoming Joint Multinational Readiness Center rotation and other major training events and missions for 2‑3 FA.
