Soldiers assigned to the 840th Component Inspection Company (CICO), 292nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 191st Regional Support Group, Puerto Rico Army National Guard, participated in rappelling training at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, July 19, 2026. The training was supported by Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, who provided instruction on the proper fitting and inspection of rappel harnesses, safety procedures and rappelling techniques. Staff Sgt. Joshua Ochart and 1st Sgt. Ishaak Colon, certified Rappel Masters with the 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, instructed participants throughout the training, ensuring the safe execution of rappelling operations and adherence to Army standards. The training enhanced Soldiers' confidence, technical proficiency and readiness to operate in challenging environments.
