U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Zachary Anderson, a native of South Carolina and a rifleman with 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, operates a Neros Archer first-person view drone with a controller on Range 220 during Operation I3C as part of Service Level Training Exercise 4-26 on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, July 17, 2026. Operation I3C is a non-live fire event that provides a progressive training opportunity for exercise force intelligence and information entities to rehearse techniques, tactics, and procedures associated with information operations, intelligence operations, and associated equipment operation. The I3C sets conditions for information and intelligence support for Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) operations during SLTE 4-26. SLTE 4-26 is designed to be a challenging, realistic training environment that produces combat-ready forces capable of operating as an integrated MAGTF across all domains of military operations.
