A U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command loadmaster holds a J knife aboard an MC-130J Commando II before airdrop training off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, March 25, 2026. During airdrop training, upon the signal of a green light, a loadmaster uses a J knife to cut the release gate allowing the container delivery system to be released out of the cargo hold.
