A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, sits on a flight line before air extraction operations near Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, July 9, 2026. The operation strengthens air-ground integration by rehearsing the air insertion, tactical employment and extraction of personnel and Infantry Squad Vehicles.
