Soldiers, veterans and community leaders commemorated the 80th Day of Affirmation, honoring the historic legacy of the 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team during a ceremony hosted by the Japanese American Veterans Association in Los Angeles. The event recognized the unit’s World War II service and highlighted how today’s Soldiers of the 100th Battalion continue to uphold that legacy through their service as part of the 9th Mission Support Command.
