Repeated exposure to low-level blast exposure, often occurring during military training, can impact warfighter brain health and operational readiness. The Military Health System helped spearhead the development of a newly released NATO report, “Guidelines to mitigate military occupational brain health risks from repetitive blast exposure.” The guidelines are designed to control and minimize the risk of developing brain-related health problems, serving as a major milestone in protecting warfighters against blast exposure.
