KITTERY, Maine (July. 14, 2026) - A ribbon cutting ceremony marks the official opening of the new food bar at the Naval Exchange at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. As part of the 21st century Sailor Initiative, the NEX received upgrades to include features, such as a food bar with grab-and-go food, coffee and other beverages. The new footprint provides a convenience store for sailors and civilians. The Navy Exchange Command (NEXCOM) enables warfighter readiness and strengthens the Navy's quality of life mission.
