Col. Clifton M. Bell, Commander, 412th Operations Group, Edwards Air Force Base, CA presents the Captain Amelia Earhart Award to Cadet Capt. Sofia Mariko Lopardo. The Civil Air Patrol California Wing returned to Edwards Air Force Base, July 13-17, for the annual Aerospace Education STEM Academy. Hosted by the 412th Test Wing STEM office, the event provides CAP cadets with hands-on STEM lessons, tours across the Edwards installation, and engagements with senior leaders. Throughout the visit, military readiness remains strongly enforced through participation in daily team building activities and morning physical training sessions.
