U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Andrew Landers, commanding general of Medical Readiness Command, Pacific (MRC, P), passes the colors to Col. Michele Kehrle, incoming commander of U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Japan (MEDDAC-J), transferring the authority and responsibility of command during a ceremony on July 8 at Camp Zama. The passing of the colors represents not only the heritage and history of the unit, but also the unity and loyalty of its Soldiers.
