    NEW YORK (July 7, 2026) — Sailors assigned to Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) engage with visitors during New York Fleet Week while supporting the Navy’s participation in America’s 250th anniversary commemoration. Throughout the event, NAVELSG Sailors showcased the capabilities of the Navy’s expeditionary logistics force, highlighting the critical role cargo handlers play in enabling the Fleet to rearm, refuel and resupply maritime forces anytime, anywhere. Fleet Week provides an opportunity for the public to meet Sailors, learn about Navy missions and strengthen the connection between the Navy and the communities they serve.
