KINGS BAY, Ga. (July 9, 2026) – A U.S. Service member assigned to Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Kings Bay (MCSFBn) maintains watch at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. MCSFBn partners with Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) to provide continuous, overlapping land and water security, safeguarding the sea-based leg of the nation's nuclear triad. Nearly 10 percent of the Navy’s master-at-arms force serves alongside Marines in these unique, integrated units to protect strategic deterrence assets.
