Honoring the enduring transatlantic friendship between Germany and the United States, Stuttgart Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Nopper welcomed nearly 100 guests, including representatives from U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart, U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command, and Alderwoman Daniela Velazquez, who traveled from Stuttgart's sister city of St. Louis, Missouri.
The U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet Band played a collection of jazz music to add to the festive mood, including a rendition of the Saint Louis Blues!
