Zackary Young, Levee Safety Program Manager for the Kansas City District, welcomed various engineers from several disciplines to formal inspection training at the Kaw Valley Drainage District maintenance facility on May 14, 2026. The training was necessary to provide new engineers an overview of the formal inspection program and prepare them for inspections scheduled to be completed this year.
