Military personnel in U.S. Navy NWU (Navy Working Uniform) camouflage are performing concrete finishing work outdoors. A central figure wearing a tan hard hat, safety glasses, and black gloves is smoothing freshly poured concrete with a hand float/trowel. Additional personnel are observing or assisting, suggesting a training or construction exercise.

U.S. Navy Equipment Operator First Class Petty Officer Jennifer Rochan, a Seabee assigned to Naval Construct Battalion (NCB) 25, smooths freshly poured concrete during sidewalk construction at Marine Corps Base Hawaii on July 6, 2026. RIMPAC 2026 will build on the success of RIMPAC 2024 with a larger contingent of partners demonstrating the inherent flexibility of maritime forces. The exercise will cover a wide range of capabilities including amphibious operations, gunnery and missile proficiency, anti-submarine warfare, air defense exercises, military medicine, humanitarian assistance and disaster response, counter-piracy, mine clearance, explosive ordnance disposal, and diving and salvage operations. Throughout the exercise, partners train and operate together to strengthen our collective forces and promote a free and open Indo-Pacific.
