Airmen from the 433rd Airlift Wing and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base offloaded hazardous narcotics from a 433rd AW C-5M Super Galaxy during a joint interagency mission, Operation Burnout, on May 20, 2026, at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The mission, conducted with the Drug Enforcement Administration, involved the largest recorded aerial transport of hazardous narcotics for destruction by incineration.
