During the event, Vice President Vance recognized America’s 250th anniversary, and the dedication of U.S. service members and veterans. NAS Oceana is the U.S. Navy’s East Coast Master Jet Base. Its primary mission is to train and deploy Atlantic Fleet strike-fighter squadrons, providing the personnel, maintenance, and flight operations necessary to support warfighters, their mission, and their families.
