Jacob Mendiola, GIS Specialist with the Idaho Army National Guard's Environmental Management Office (EMO), launches a Skydio drone, kicking up dust, during unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations at Camp Orchard training ranges, Idaho, June 30, 2026. Mendiola flew the drone to gather geospatial imagery in support of environmental compliance and land management efforts across the training ranges. The flight supported the EMO's broader mission of monitoring and preserving Idaho Army National Guard training lands.
