NAVAL AIR STATION WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. (May 21, 2026) —Sailors assigned to Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor and tenant commands aboard Naval Air Station Whidbey Island participate in the culminating practical exercise of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training. The final exercise challenges participants to apply life-saving skills in realistic, high-stress scenarios designed to prepare them to provide immediate medical care in combat and other austere environments. TCCC certification is now required for all Sailors, ensuring the fleet is better prepared to respond to medical emergencies and improve survivability in operational settings.
