Mr. Larry Felix, lead athletic trainer for the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, “Bulldog Brigade,” 1st Armored Division, conducts classroom instruction on heat emergencies and prevention protocols for brigade combat medics (68W) during a continuing education session. The specialized training is part of an ongoing medical education series designed to enhance the clinical skills, readiness, and immediate response capabilities of the brigade’s frontline medical personnel. Led by the brigade’s Injury Control staff, the training ensures Bulldog medics are prepared to mitigate, identify, and rapidly treat heat-related casualties and training injuries in demanding environments.
